Our Story

Tyler, our founder, was born and raised in Yorba Linda, California, where he still lives today. His journey into 3D printing began in 2020, when he came across an ad for a 3D printer and bought one on the spot. From that moment, he set out with a clear vision — to build the best 3D printing business in Southern California.

In 2021, he opened his first 3D printing business — an Etsy shop he still runs today — operating out of his home and personally handling every order from design to shipping.

What started as a single printer quickly grew. Tyler began offering 3D printing services, custom design work, 3d scanning services, printer repairs, and even launched his own podcast, 3D Printing Basics, to help beginners get started in the industry.

By 2023, Tyler took the leap to pursue his passion full time, turning 3D Printing Squared into his main business. That same year, he partnered to launch Custom QR Stands, which rapidly became a successful branch under the 3D Printing Squared umbrella.

Today, Tyler works out of his own office in Anaheim, running a fleet of over 10 3D printers offering multiple printing styles. He continues to provide custom 3D design services, printer repairs, and educational content through his podcast, which has now released over 70 episodes.
